PDF guides to the WIP Batch screen and functions
The WIP Batch Price Edit system is an addition to the WIP Batch module that allows users to specify average prices for items that are created from a WIP Batch. These price changes can be saved and the batch marked as ‘Price Locked’ in order to prevent ROM from making automatic price adjustments in its normal processes.
The WIP batch system (also known as Batch Processing or WIP Multi-Production) is designed to allow for processing of materials without requiring the users to process tags on a per-tag basis. This system is also useful for consolidating material from multiple sources into a single finished product. The WIP batch system will maintain the total value of all processed material and adjusts the ending average values to account for shrinkage or weight gained during the process.
